Why Is There a Giant Tattoo Cartridge on the Wall?

There are certain questions you probably shouldn't ask me. β€œWhat if a tattoo cartridge was enormous?” is one of them.

Because once that question existed in my brain, there was really only one possible outcome: I had to make one 😏

And since a giant tattoo cartridge just sitting around taking up space would be slightly ridiculous, it needed a job, so now it dispenses stuff.

Welcome to Sheep's Clothing

This is exactly the kind of nonsense that led to the Sheep's Clothing collection. This line specializes in things pretending to be other things.

From across the room, it's a giant tattoo cartridge mounted on the wall.

Get a little closer and you'll realize that it's actually hiding rolls of Sensi-Wrap, tape, bandaging, or whatever other small packaged supplies have been rolling around your station and refusing to stay where you put them.

Technically it's organization. It's just organization wearing a very large disguise.

Why Make a Tattoo Cartridge This Big?

Because tattoo studios already have enough boring plastic storage.

If something has to live on the wall next to your station every single day, it might as well be entertaining.

The Giant Tattoo Cartridge Roll Dispenser was made to look immediately familiar to tattoo artists without being just another piece of equipment sitting on the station.

Load your rolls inside through the top, pull the baggies out from the hole in the front as needed, and suddenly the thing that could have been hidden in a drawer becomes part of the room.

Also, watching someone notice it for the first time is half the fun. There's usually a brief moment of, "Is that a—”

Yes. Yes it is.

Pick Your Poison

The cartridges come in multiple colors and either Round Liner or Curved Magnum needle grouping, because if we're going to make an absurdly oversized tattoo cartridge, we're going to commit to the bit.

There are also special finishes, including Rainbow Galaxy and Bronzed versions, where the filament itself creates variations from print to print.

So no two of those come out exactly alike.

Useful Things Don't Have to Look Useful

I don't think useful things need to look useful and boring. That's really the entire idea behind Sheep's Clothing.

I like making things that solve an actual problem, but I don't see any rule saying the solution has to look like it came from an office-supply catalog.

A dispenser can look like a tattoo cartridge.
A storage container can look like a came right out of your favorite game.

Your station can be organized without looking like everybody else's station.

The Giant Tattoo Cartridge Roll Dispenser is available now at 3DChaos and Bloody Wolf Tattoo Supply.

Just don't blame me when people spend more time asking about your dispenser than your tattoo machine 😁
